3. trnd news / newsblog

For some of the articles of our newsblog section we may provide a feature which allows you to submit a comment. If you leave a comment on a blog post, your comment, your name or nickname and the time when you submitted your comment will be visible to all users of this Website. No other information will be publicly displayed or can be viewed by others, unless you provide such information yourself, e.g. as part of your comment.

In addition to the information provided by yourself (e.g. your name/nickname or the text of your comment), trnd will also store your email address, IP address and the time when you posted your comment.

Your email address and your IP address will not be published. Email addresses and IP addresses are collected to prevent misuse of the comment feature on the newsblog which also describes our legitimate interest.

Nicknames are allowed. Comments are voluntary and governed by the trnd Terms of Use.
Comments you post will not be pre-checked by trnd and may be read by others without your knowledge. Apart from that, other users may comment on any of your comments and post their comments as well.

trnd will make efforts to ensure that the rules for commenting on posts as laid down in the Terms of Use are complied with and to delete any comments not following these rules as soon as trnd becomes aware of them.

Your comments will be retained by trnd for as long as the blog post you commented on will appear on the trnd newsblog. For this period of time, your comments will be publicly available on the trnd newsblog. Any comments and corresponding information (such as IP addresses or email addresses) will be deleted after such period of time, except where any relevant statute of limitations term applicable to the content of the comments requires a longer retention of the comments.

You can use our trnd contact form to request more information from trnd, to request a personal offer, or to subscribe to the trnd newsletter. To be able to use these services, the following information may be required, depending on the method by which you wish to be contacted:

5. trnd newsletter

We will send you the trnd newsletter only if you expressly give us your consent. The trnd newsletter informs you regularly per email about current developments in collaborative,word-of-mouth, and influencer marketing.

The legal basis therefore is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. When you register for the newsletter, we may also store the IP address assigned by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) of the IT system you are using at the time of registration as well as the date and time of registration. To enrich your browsing experience this Website also embeds videos provided by YouTube LLC (“YouTube”), a Google Company as well as other Google products like Google Maps to e.g. visualize e.g. our office locations and Google Fonts for a professional aesthetically pleasing design (hereinafter “Google Content”).
