Paul Beresford joins trnd as UK sales director

Collaborative marketing agency trnd has appointed Paul Beresford as its new UK sales director.

trnd has eleven offices across Europe covering 19 markets, and formally launched into the UK in February 2015. It employs more than 200 people, managing more than 850 collaborative marketing campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the world, including Procter & Gamble (P&G), Unilever, Henkel, Philips, Samsung and L’Oréal.

Prior to joining trnd, Beresford was with BzzAgent, a dunnhumby company, for four years, delivering strong sales growth and being named top sales performer for three years in a row. During his time at the company, Beresford built relationships with many of the world’s leading brands, including P&G, Unilever and Reckitt Benckiser.

Beresford will work with Paul Mitchell and Rebekah Mackay Miller, joint UK managing directors, to develop the UK sales strategy for trnd and drive new business.

Mackay Miller said of the appointment: “We’re thrilled to have Paul Beresford join trnd. It’s a time of rapid growth for our UK business and Paul’s considerable achievements in sales and client management will allow us to share expertise with a wider market.”

trnd has a community of more than 1.7 million consumers across Europe to allow brands to gain valuable feedback and insight about their products, at scale, which can be used in research and development, co-creation of products, and to spread word-of-mouth (WOM). trnd has also developed its own branded community platform – trndsphere™ - which provides the technology to power and scale its campaigns.
